Steps to check document similarity with iThenticate

Document similarity checking service using iThenticate/Turnitin to ensure the originality of your thesis before submitting to the repository.
Important!
- • This service is for thesis documents only (Undergraduate/Master/Doctoral)
- • Each student has a quota of 3 checks
- • Results will be available in 5-15 minutes
- • Certificate can be downloaded after checking is complete
Check Process (4 Steps)
Step 1: Login & Access Dashboard
Login to your member account and access dashboard:
- Login with your member account
- Open "Plagiarism Check" menu
- Make sure quota is still available
Step 2: Upload Document
Upload your thesis document:
PDF Format
Document in PDF format
DOCX Format
Microsoft Word document
Maximum size: 20MB. Make sure the file is not password protected.
Step 3: Processing
The system will process your document:
- Document is uploaded to iThenticate
- Compared with global database
- Wait 5-15 minutes until completion
You can leave the page, results will be saved automatically.
Step 4: View Results & Download Certificate
After completion, you can:
- View similarity percentage
- View similar sources
- Download PDF certificate
- Verify certificate via QR Code
Result Interpretation
0% - 15%
PASS
Low similarity, safe
15% - 25%
WARNING
Needs manual review
> 25%
FAIL
Needs significant revision
Percentage is only an indicator. Some similarities may be normal (quotes, references). Consult with your supervisor for further interpretation.
