PENGARUH PENYALURAN DANA ZAKAT, TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN, DAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI TERHADAP TINGKAT KEMISKINAN DI INDONESIA 2013-2023

ABSTRACT Poverty remains a central development challenge in Indonesia, influenced by various economic factors such as income distribution, unemployment, and economic growth. This study aims analyze the impact of zakat fund distribution, unemployment rate, and economic growth on the poverty rate in Indonesia during the period 2013–2023. A quantitative approach utilized secondary data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS). The analysis method used was multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing. The research results indicate that the distribution of zakat funds has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels, which means that increased zakat distribution can reduce poverty. Conversely, the unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on poverty, indicating that a rise in unemployment will worsen poverty conditions. Meanwhile, economic growth has a positive and significant effect on poverty. These findings highlight the critical role of zakat as a poverty alleviation tool when managed effectively. Theoretically, this research supports the Islamic income redistribution theory and strengthens the view that zakat is a strategic instrument for promoting social justice and economic welfare. Therefore, improving zakat governance and expanding employment opportunities are crucial strategies for reducing poverty in Indonesia.
